    Thanks Vets & Soldiers

    Hi all-

Being Veterans Day, I wanted to take a second to just say thank you to all those Vet's out there, or those parents and family of current soldiers and military personnel serving, those who grew up in military households, etc. Today is your day.

A lot of the things we take part in each and everyday could not happen without the constant sacrifice and selflessness of those who serve our country. Think about this, what we all did a week ago today(vote), in some countries is only a dream, and we have our past great soldiers and leaders to thank for sacrificing so that we may have the basic liberties and freedoms we have today.

Also, in relation to the marine community, if you are able to, take a vet or a soldier just back from a tour out on a boat ride or for a fishing trip. It is a small way to say thanks and build a bond through the activities of boating and fishing.

If anyone has experience in starting up a program or special day to take vets or soldiers out I'd love to chat, as Burlington Boatyard is trying to implement something like that around here in VT.

    Thanks!

    Guy

Thank you to all who have served and are currently serving.

Thank you for your selfless sacrifices in the name of freedom and liberty.

Thank you to the families who anxiously awaited your return from domestic deployments or far away lands.

Thank you for the grace that you show a nation who, at times, has been ungrateful or undervalues your service and falls short of the respect that you are still proud to show her.

We are humbled by you and what you selflessly do for us.

    Thank you.

Now how do you follow that?

I'd like to make a motion to hold Reel Fanatic's responses until after I have had a chance to post, since anything I say now will just sound inarticulate and dull.....

    Anybody second????

    I didn't think so.

    So here goes:

Thank You to all those who have served this great nation now and before. Without you there would be no us. And I, for one, sincerely appreciate that.
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.
