I took randys advise and have been using my thumbdinger for casting from the beach and it has given me no lie about an extra 30 yards..

i took the extra large put it on my pointer finger for my spinners and i put it on the thumb with a large for my conventionals..

the conventional got about another 20 yards and my spinners for another 30 yards.. it was like night and day..

it puts me out there past the breakers i must say it is awesome!!

got 1 short last night..

alot of sand shark or smooth doggies,

lost a big fish the other night in the wash.. stinks but oh well my mistake..

will start fishing everynight on monday as beach buggy season is open up here..

ok, can-do...we drive down along the beach on AI, I have the OSV permit for Barb's Escape and I have a buch of "hard-core" Surf Fishing guys that we hook-up wth down there that stay out all night, build bonfires, cook and drink all day and night long, Good People Too....
we catch Stripers, Red and Black Drum, Sharks and some Flounder, alot of trash fish too, like skates n' rays.....
I'll keep you posted, I gotta' have some surgery middle of next month so I'll prob be down till the middle of November

yeah, I got alot of guys who Surf fish throwing conventionals and they swear that it not only gives them better thumb control of the spool, esp when wet, that they can really "wing-it" and are getting 30+ more yards per cast

samething wth the guys throwing spinning gear, they wear the extra large Thumb Dinger on the index finger to prevent cuts and abrasions from braid and heavy wet mono


also, last item.... our Thumb Dingers are now being used on the hit TV Show Reel Adventures starting this week and they just finished-up shooting a comerical for the show, for us
