    Thanks..... She Loves To Fish

I just want to give a big shout out and thank you to SHELUVSTOFISH for inviting me and surfergirl to her neck of the woods this fall to go duck hunting. I have never been hunting, but Im excited about learning and experiencing something new. I hope I shoot the duck and not my foot. lol

Im also looking forward to fishing with you also......... nothing like lady anglers out to put some meat in the box.

oh no............... it now says," hide my wife's logged one. I wish this thing could detect if your male or female.

    You are CERTAINLY WELCOME!

I hope that you can make it... Who knows, I/We might see you in NC. Sure would be a good time of it getting to see some old friends and faces again. I haven't talked to some people that I used to hear from quite a bit in a good while now... I'll have to see how things work out though. I've got a busy schedule hitting here around the middle of the month that's not going to slow down much until the end of it.

Sorry I just saw your posting... It was our short season here and I've been playing huntress on the river & over a few ponds.

I'll see if I can send you some pics (to get you even more motivated) when I find my memory card ... It's so nice to put things up so they won't get lost only to forget where they are when you go to find them again!

edit - There will be no shooting of feet... Unless they are orange or black (duck or goose!)

Hmmmmm. Surf and Chesney hunting???? This hunt doesn't in volve Florida, a big duffle bag and lots of duct tape does it... Make sure they know that the ducks have wings, are about the size of a bowling pin, and quack... Not 5'10" impossibly average. with baby blues, and yell at their deck hands alot...

If we're going to FL we'll have to use a rod and reel to 'fetch' our ducks... I'm right handy with that set up too from hunting over half frozen ponds. Too many gators in FL to turn any of my dawgs loose in that warm water .

CL, I was thinking a lawn and leaf bag and a big stick would work just as well for the NC part of the trip...

NOOOOWWWWW that is the type of duck I would like to hunt!!!

But I am not a very good shot when my target is moving ... My Dad was in the military and was a sniper.. he only taught to shoot things that are moving really slow..
BUT.. I have some plans in the very near future to be taught how to hit a moving target.... Soon very soon I will be able to hit one of those critters with a shotgun... I hope at least... It can't be to hard, there are many men who can do it, so it must be easier for a woman to shoot one You know we can do all things better then you guys At least that is what we tell ourselves.. Ha!!

Did somebody say wood duck? ...... I'm there! Did pretty good with them during the early season; but, I'm looking forward to the real deal. I'm blessed to have some really good hunting spots here; but, hard to turn down an invite. Don't be surprised if you get a PM. CL is particularly looking forward to a NC hunt. If she can't get the hang of the shotgun I'm going to give her a slingshot and some steel. If all else fails the stick and Hefty bag approach will be our next step .
For some reason I'm particularly excited about deer season. Generally doesn't get me as worked up as it has this year. I'm going to try to do better than those 9's this time... Gotta hit the double digits! Thanks again for the invites and the same to you... I'm not too far away and we've got some pretty impressive deer and turkey hunting here locally.
