Tea Party loses repubs the senate

No question the tea party crammed down less than qualified candidates for Nevada and Delaware. Both SHOULD HAVE BEEN easy repub victories if the repubs had credible qualified candidates. These two seats would have given the repubs the majority in the Senate and with that all the powerful chairman seats. Thankfully, the tea party is not done yet and those that did get in are expected to do some more real damage to the repubs in the House. This will be especially entertaining and I expect the tea party will be facilitating Obama's reelection in 2012. So now lets all watch as the wackos in the tea party claim that Reed committed voter fraud to win. LOL

...I know it may be tough, but it's REID, not REED.

The intellect of the left's Koolaid Crowd continues to astound. Next thing you'll blabber about is the Kenyesian background of Obama as a reference to combat his birthplace.

...you may continue for the simple-minded few who still toss a ball on a roof only to complain about the house's toss back.

    Blacks, Latinos, and College students..

is who the president is concentrating on for his re-election. Does that ever make you wonder about the integrity of his administration?

First of all, Delaware is a ghetto, and its been democrat all its life. Christine Odonnell actually woke up Delaware a little bit. Your making an assumption that isnt even remotely based in fact. I know nothing about nevada except its in the desert. But, delaware, aint Republican.....thats for sure. On the south side of the train tracks its all poor and alot of trains run North in delaware.

Easy repub victory? Jeez, what planet do you live on? The NV winner (the sitting majority leader) has been in office for 24 years, and the DE seat has been dimocrat for almost as long (formerly occupied by the sitting VP, not withstanding). Considering "The Tea Party" wasn't even in existence 2 years ago, it would seem they spoke very well for themselves. Both major parties better have been paying attention, I suspect The Angry American hasn't finished with 'em ...

Thank you. Thats a little closer to the facts. To make a statement that it would have gone republican is just plain.......misinformed.

But it looks very much like the Tea Party is finished as they were absorbed by the Michelle Bachmans of the GOP world.

When the Tea Party stands distinct from the Republicans wake me up. Until then, I'll drift peacefully in my slumber and dream of a real third party that might be born out of the slaugher of the middle class from the financial crisis.

Wake up people, the class war has been going on for decades and the Republicans are the party that more than any party caused your/our misery. What's the point of investing political energy in a party that's going to keep on raping us with our own votes? None, I'd wager.

and I thought the Tea Party did pretty well. 60 or so seats in congress.

But as Scarlett said "tomorrow is another day".
