If I understand the quote correctly, Mr. Whalen is saying that if people knew that they were supporting a retail organization that is funding attacks on candidates who, in his mind at least, would best support familis they'd be less likely to patronize the store. Is that your reading of it too, Crud?
If so, what's the problem with that relatively simple supposition and where's the class warfare in it? I just don't see it.
But I do often see people vote against their own interests. Actually, it's the greatest magic trick by the two dominant parties ever concocted to, in effect, deprive you of your votes. Behind the closed doors of Congress the two parties dance a tight chacha and mostly run the country into the ground with transfers of wealth to the elites while they ply the masses with "value" issues which distracts the public from the real theft that's going on.
No matter who won on any of those value issues, no matter what position ultimately prevailed there would be no substantive change in the way Americans live. The two dominant parties have become wholly owned by the rich and their propogandists peddle value crap to the public to keep them aggitated at one another and dumb what the rich do for themselves behind the scenes with our money.
Senseless. The class war was joined by only one side, the elites, many decades ago. When are you "value" people on both sides going to wake up to our collective plight and start voting for your vital interests instead of constantly waring about abortion, gays, gays in the military, gays on broadway in skimpy outfits grinding against one another, socialism, communism, prayer in schools, separation of church and state, etc., etc., etc.?
Your being stolen blind and you don't have the common sense to see it. Pity the Tea Party. Their absorption by the GOP will effectively end their significance by 2012, you watch.

A working man voting republican is like a chicken voting for KFC.
Please expound on how this Great Country should be run. I'm sure you already have somewhere along the way but I missed it. So tell us how to fix it.
And as far as Doctrine is concerned. What do you know about Doctrine? You know so much I'd like to hear what you know about that also. Tell me how to run a Country like ours with and without Doctrine.
Dont hold your breath Jay, dipfisher only stands on one platform, and thats the one of criticism, using his beloved quotes (no original thoughts) he picks apart everyone's beliefs, then heaps on loads of criticism..remember,we all fall short in his eyes.As for any REAL thoughts on fixing this..he's still looking for the perfect quote or paragraph.as i said before..he and others like him are part of the problem..not the solution.
