Taxes...

In case yall are wondering why I have been around all day... Been doing my corporate taxes... It takes a feww passes to get it right at one point I owed $14,769,472.38 .... Then another pass had uncle sam $641,593.02 into me... Then finally I got the numbers right and for hopefully the last time I'm still upside down...

Now from here its off to a real place to get it done for real. H+R Deep I'm not...On my way I get to drop off a check for $7000 for property tax ...

Then I get to do the personal taxes next... Then boat and car insurance... Did the house insurance last week at a touch over $6000... Still wanna live in the Plywood state???

I like to do em before my accountant to get a rough idea where I am. I was pretty close... Yes it hurts barfing up that kind of green. Property tax, some of comes off my income but if I have little or no income that nreak doesn't help much. Insurance though is the worst... No breaks there, no credits from the tax man... Florida is in a state of crisis and may have to step in to stop the insanity...

Deep It suckes Im sure to pay, but you could be up here wearing thermal underwear for 6 months. U actually save cause you dont have to buy winter clothes.

$14,000 could by a lot of winter clothes... Thats the extra premium for living here and wages are roughly half of what they are up north.
Real problem here. Especially for retirees. Insurance was $1200 a couple years ago and property tax under $2000... Now about $7+7k...
State is stepping in on the insurance trying to correct that with some kind of fund and talk of doing away with property tax and going to higher sales tax is in the works...
