    Tall Ships & A Collision @ Sea!

Last weekend was the 25th Gloucester Schooner Festival. I was out there in all the mayhem.

For a minute there I thought they were racing. Somebody's yelling "Starboard!!" and somebody else is yelling "Protest!"

There's an echo in my head from my NASCAR days..." If you can't wreck it, don't race it."

Then I read the captions and find out it's just a parade of blowboats....

    Great pics though, thanks.
IE8 says this may be a phishing site....Well, DUH!!!!!!... Stupid jerks can't even spell fishing right.

    Tradition

Obviously, there's a much stronger nautical tradition in your neck of the woods than here in Texas.

Great pics. Very refreshing to see how others live.

    Thanks!
I know what you mean....I like the old "Pat Patriot" myself. He was designed by a local, Phil Bissel back in the 60's. And "Pat Patriot" will be on their helmets 7:00pm on Monday Night Football against the Bills!

Here's a slideshow I made of the Schooner Festival:
