We have been round and round with the whole tshirt and clothing crap. Its a massive head ache for us.

What we have been working on is 2 diffrent things.

1. Getting the 100 posts thing going again but have been speaking with sponsors to help with this process.
Meaning sell sponsor logo spots on the sleeves or some where on the shirts. Since the shirts are going to commited guys who post and obvouisly love fishing its a great person to advertise to. So hopefully we can lock up 2 more companies and get this back in full swing. If you would like to get on the shirts please email me at admin@sportfishermen.com

2. We have been speaking with some great artist's and hoping to lock a deal with them to produce some killer shirts that we would sell that would be sold for the art and just a small logo for us on it.

Jackets, hats, visors and all that other stuff is a real head ache for us as we spend so much time working on the site.
Hopefully one day we will find a company who can just deal with the whole thing from printing to fullfillment so we can work on what we are good at...

My take;
I come here most days that I have access to my laptop. I've only contributed a mesely 155 times now, and most of those were probably idiotic. So the site doesn't owe me anything.

I'd buy one if I could remember to order one. Chances of that are slim with my memory!

Can I get one if I have my wife pose wearing it & her thong bikini? (She's hot, so it wouldn't be scary)

But,
A site like this that puts up so much for it's members
deserves a little advertising. It's the least we can do.
As usual, joeksr beat me to it. SFC gives us this great venue and doesn't charge us a dime for it. Then, to encourage us to contribute (and yes, advertise for them) they'll give you a free shirt if you make 100 decent posts. T-shirts cost money too.

Keep this in mind too. More members and more posts means more eyeballs for SFC's advertisers. Which means this site can make the money to grow and offer new features. Still for no cost to us.

Knot for shore, you're right about free advertising. I wouldn't have the nerve to charge my customers for our company tees. But for SFC I'll gladly, pony up a couple of bucks to advertise. I already did.
