I saw both hours of this show laid up sick in bed last night. I thought it was pretty good. Beats Fox News anyway!

That bluefin Scotty had in the first show was a *****! 3 hr fight on the drum! No thanks! Boy was he pissed in show two when they scratched the belly yanking it out of the hold.

I like the content better on Swords than Deadliest Catch, but their production needs to be stepped up IMO.

Got me through two hours of ass and stomach cramps anyway!

I would be willing to bet that if they really showed all the bycatch particularly a bunch of dead sharks and dolphins(not the mahi I saw) it would really make the unknowing public angry at the fishing method. With deadliest catch their catchin crabs so for most(not counting PETA heads) nobody cares. But you kill Flipper on a longline and its a different story all together.

Actually other that sharks and Bluefin, there is no bycatch on the Grand Banks...that's why they go there...I fished with Linda out there years ago on the Hannah Boden, and a couple years before that with her on the Andrea Gail...both out of Gloucester...aside from a few 900 pound Bluefins, and a few 400 pound sharks, swords is all we caught. I'll never go out there again, too many lost friends, and huge waves, make the thirty footers on Deadliest Catch look like "flatass calm." As the Jamaican said, "a trip to the Banks, is a trip to hell." I know, I've been there.......

I would bet that Roffers didn't like the sharing of the water temp charts. Somepne's subscription may get canceled.
