Sunglasses Poll

What are the better sunglasses out?

1. Costa Del Mar
2. OHO
3. Maui Jim

Please add your explanation why? I was looking at getting the OHO, but have a pair of Costa already but was looking for a change.

I prefer Costa's they are not as heavy as the Maui jims, I also like the amber lenses. I tend to get a little queasy when I wear a dark lense.

The only thing is my pair did not have the "holes" as the end of the ear piece to attach a strap too. So I drilled holes and crimped some manofilament on as a strap... works great. Besides, those croakie things are just way to big for me to use my ears are to small.

I have not used any of the others so I am no help there.

I have had My Native's for 3 years . They perform well and if they break I just send them Back with $25 and they send me a new pair.

Costa's are the one for me, put too many fish in the boat with them on. Plus fishing the NE canyons in sept of 2005 wearing the the first pair of Fathoms I bought now 3 years old, landing a hefty yellow fin I took a gaff blow to the face ( eye ) wasn't the target the lenses on my costa's cracked in a hundred pieces , but nothing in my eye or face and not one piece fell out of the frame. I did not even call the company for a replacement, too me COSTA DE MAR probrably save my eye! I replaced them with a pair of fathom 580's and have been wearing them ever since!

I love costas, Ive had 2 pairs in the last 5 years and nothing beats the 580 lenses. I lost them off my harley at 55 miles an hour and my girl saw them on her way to my house in the middle of the road and called me in shock that where was not a scratch on the lenses. I even got her a pair last year during the WMO

My second favorites are Kaenon, they are great glasses but they are more my street glasses. Again I got my girl a pair of these and she she loves them.

Both of us love both brands of glasses, and I dont think you can really go wrong with any of the choices. I go for comfort and what fits my face the best. My girl goes for what matches her outfit the best and which one isnt going to make her look like a raccoon while on the boat with us.

My dad has been wearing the OHOs and he loves them and the new white frames and blue glass looks sick but I honestly havnt put them on my head yet.

Always had costa's, but will NEVER buy another.
Had a pair for a couple of months. The lens poped out landed on concrete & broke.
They would not replace. Said it was my fault. Not covered by warranty.
