    Sunglasses?

This has probably been discussed before, but since it didn't pertain to me I didn't pay much attention...

I'm getting LASIK tomorrow, and expect to need something that I haven't needed for 20 years - nonprescription sunglasses.

    What does everybody recommend?

Costa Del Mar with the 580 lenses, they are amazing! They reduce glare(yellow) and imprvove the way you see the rest of the colors, they make it seem like your vision actually improves.
Doug, good luck with the LASIK I'm trying to get my nerve up I took me forever to put contacts in my eyes

Chuck, you and Doug should go to Campus Eye. I heard a commercial on the radio other day that if you get lasik done you can bring 1 friend along with you to get it done for free.

Good luck Doug. Where are you getting it done at?

Best of luck with the LASIK, I went for consultation on Tuesday and I'm suppose to get mine done Feb/March - waiting for child #3 to be born and get settled from from that...
    I wear contacts and I use Costa Del Mar's - Fathom's w/ the blue, glass 580 Lens

They work well for me on the water as they are polarized and prevent a lot of light from coming in through the sides. I find them to be very comfortable and don't slide off my face if/when I start sweating... no need for croakies that I needed with my Ray Bans.

I bought the Costa's on a recommendation from a post here last year, just don't remember who its was... Crazy eyes maybe?
Hope this helps and let me know how the procedure goes...
