At least some one finally said it... Wasn't it said a few years ago that we are on the verge of a mini Ice age and now just about a decade later we are destroying the planet with global warming... I know how we can fix it, just have the people that are complaining abot global warming stop breathing and stop emiting CO2 into the atmosphere...

Politics, the whole thing is stupid. I'l accept the weather I get and cope with it. These kind of people had us hiding under school desks for nuclear attacks, building bomb shelters during the cold war, etc. When does it end? We are just gullable and that is all. Let nature take its course and accept it.

Weather is an amazing thing - It has been hapening since the beginning of time - and every 10,000 years or so, there was an ice age - precipitated by a warming trend - when was the last major ice age?


When you talk about trends in geologic timeframes, just what do we really know???

The last ice age was the Little Ice age . It ended in the 1850's not a long time in the life of a planet.
Ask 'em what the temp. should be? No one has that fact.

This damn Global Warming issue has become such a political football that no matter what the actual facts might be, it is the thing to be involved in. I can remember back in I think the 70's when they were wringing their hands about the earth going into a new ice age. Our planet is only 1/6 covered by land mass and they don't even mention that. How in the scheme of things can man have the kind of effect that they seem to be preaching. Hell one little burp by a major volcano releases more CO2 and other gases than man has since he started burning fuels for energy. We need to keep the pressure on these fanatics to pay attention to the other points of view and at least give the science on the other side of the issue a fair hearing. Hell two weeks ago they had a meeting in NY of the scientists on the non warming side and do you think that they got any media coverage???????? B.S. Seems to rule not common sense or real scientific inquiry.
