Building facilities manager and (part time)charter capt
Subway Cars at the Jackspot
I read in the local paper about the shippment delivered friday.
The cost of one load was about 25k. Now let me tell you a little about the guy that put up the $ for the first load. He is a personal friend of mine, dedicted angler/hunter and a true friend to the OC Reef Foundation. I won't use his name here as I have not talked to him yet to thank him for his generosity to anglers and the resource. Obviously, he has the means to make such a donation but hold on, he has eraned every bit of it through years of hard work. He keeps a nice sportfisher here in OCMD as I'm sure some of you here know.
It is not often that you run across someone of his station being a regular old good guy, that generous and friendly.(he has helped me), and that caring about thr resource and it's future. the reef where the cars are placed bears his name. Thanks Jack!
No kidding. Now that is generosity in every sense of the word- to fisherman, to fish, and to the charter industry. It's good to know that there are still some people in this world who do the right thing. Thanks for pointing this out to us capt!
