Those that have followed in years past know that when I head to the islands I bring litterally every last thing I could possibly need during the stay. If we havn't got it we cant get it there...
You have seen obscene piles of stuff get crammed into my poor little ALbemarle to the point where one more pound would put the exhausts all the way under... After so many years I had it to a science... Always enough for the entire month and always the right mix of goodies.
Now the new player in the fleet is getting her shot at playing the beast of burden... Longer trip means more stuff. I have been slowly loading for a while and today I inventoried what we have so far. My goodness the list is impressive... Why wouldn't it be? We are actually going to be fishing 40 days. Thats 240 lunches and 240 dinners...
24 boxes of scalloped potatoes. 12 boxes of Au Gratin, 18 of macaroni and cheese, 8 of spaghetti, 10 pounds of regular rice, 10 of sushi rice, 12 pounds of fish fry mix, 8 jars of Mayo, 8 mustards, 8 tartar sauce, 6 A-1 sauce, 4 soy sauce, 8 spaghetti sauce, 8 tubes of wasabi, 6 bottles lime juice, 4 lemon juice, 16 qts ultra pasturized milk, 30 cans corn, 30 cans green beans, 8 cans veg-all, 8 cans chilli, 16 qts cooking oil, 16 cans baked beans, 8 pounds coffee, 4 creamers, 4 pounds sugar, 200 filters, 720 sodas, 4 industrial tubs of gatorade mix, 2 monster iced tea mix, 480 plates, 24 rolls paper towels, 300 fork- knife- spoon sets, 8 two pound jars of peanut butter, 8 pounds jelly, 16 pounds ham, 12 pounds turkey, 12 pounds salami, 8 pounds cheese, 6 pounds bologna, 12 packs hot dogs, 9 bags of chopped onions + peppers (for conch salad), 256 bags of chips and doritos, 240, assted cracker packs, 200 snack packs of cookies, 120 mini canned fruit, 120 granola bars, 40 insatnt oatmeals, 24 pounds asstd candy... I'm gettin hungry!
