Steven Hawking

[Fortunate One]

I just love Hawking's roll in Pink Floyd's "Keep Talking". It may be his best work.

Is there irony in the fact that the genius physicist can't talk but he's in the intro and middle part of the song "Keep Talking" ?

Painfully honest?

It's missed on most.

"It doesn't have to be like this. All we need to do is make sure we keep talking."

Just keep talking..... so we don't end up with mutual assured destruction?

Hawking, the guy with the answers. The guy who for years studied Black Holes until he woke up one day and realized that he was wrong.

What does this all mean?

Who knows, just fodder for the random chaos world that we live in.

He's just not that interesting to me. I can tell you I wouldn't trade places with him for all the money in the world. For more reason's than just the obvious. Being "intelligent" isn't the same as being smart in my book. I've got a relative that's got that genius IQ thing goin on. He can probably tell you ver-baitum every chemical that's in a can of bean's. Where and when the metal can was invented, the particular's of the packing process, etc.... but I'll gaurrantee if you handed him a P38, he wouldn't have a clue how to open the can to get at those very bean's. Give me smart's anyday. I might not be "intelligent" but I can open a can of bean's! Frank

He's pretty bright. His handicap is a disease, not a liability. I took his book into the woods one day while deer hunting and unfortunately left it right at the foot of the tree under my stand. I didnt remember until I stopped at the food store on the way home to get a couple New York strip steaks.

I wouldn't wish his disease on anyone. I've got some spare stand's down here iffin you get too cold up there. Bring the book, would make great fire startin material. You know build the fire at the foot of the tree you're in, let the smoke rise up around you, makes great cover. Frank

I like to sit in the woods, I actually like to watch them. I just dont want to eat them, or mount his head on my wall. So, I dont shoot them. If hunting is anything like fishing you know a lot of guys that say they eat everything they shoot is a lie, cause I have watched guys fish and fill trash cans with bluefish.......you know NO one can eat all that bluefish. Same goes for catching 24 tuna at a time..........You may as well mount half these tuna, we cant eat all this.
