I'm looking to get my brother hooked up to a bft for his birthday, any suggestions for boats is greatly appreciated.

There are a lot of good guys that can do that, and all do it in different ways- what kind of fishing does he like?

doesn't really matter, bur something along the lines of trolling a spread unless we see some breaking fish casting or jigging isn't out of the question. not interested in fly.

If it's smaller boats that you'd like, try Captdom, Charlie Wade, or Riptide (all site members, and you can find reports from all of them on the NE forum) a call. They vary in styles from casting, jigging, and hard core run and gun. Good luck and let us know how you do!
