I can't stand to watch it. Maybe if they would stop the clapping halfway through each sentence the guy makes it would be a lot shorter. It would hold my interest then. JMO.

Interesting... I would say safety/security/terrorism and energy are by far the two biggest issues we face today. Of course, the second one is a very significant influence on the economy.

I would also agree that the opposition party response was a complete disgrace. Our system is getting to the point where it doesn't really function anymore.

The real disgrace is the "leadership" of the democratically controlled congress. They have no vision, no plan and have accomplished nothing. Their approval numbers are below that of the President, something they rarely mention in tirades against the Republicans.
