This is a great opportunity for anyone who hasn't attended a meeting yet to learn more about the issue and get involved. Don't miss out!!!

Frankly, I am pretty surprised at the apparent lack of concern on this issue. I think there are a lot of people that think this particular problem won't have any significant impact on them or their fishing rights. If that is the case, said people are going to be in for a surprise or two over the next few years... and by then it may be too late to do anything about it.

Everyone should at least take some time to get informed, even if you decide to do nothing else.

I'm from up north and probably won't make the South Jersey meeting, but wanted to agree that the lack of concern over this issue is worrisome at best. The axes are falling everywhere, NY declared new emergency tog regs that drop the limit from 10 fish to 4. The fluke issue should be one that almost any fishermen can get behind, if only to help make sure the shop where offshore supplies are purchased remains in business.

Hopefully lots of people read this and will be at the meeting even though they haven't responded to this thread...hopefully

Will the new regulations be set at this meeting?
