With limited space on a monkey boat space is a premium. My problem I need to be able to fish for swords during the day, the night and be able to troll on the way out and in. Also ability to switch to bottom leaders and chunk baits for tuna all on one reel. My thoughts were to spool a 50vsw with power pro finish the end connection with JB hollow core making a loop and inserting the power pro inside the JB hollow core.{to reduce costs} Would this connection hold? And if I used hollow core for both ends of the loop to loop connections would I still need to insert the hollow core inside dacron to protect the loop to loop connection from chafe. Plan on a short wind on of spectra to the day sword leader. For day swords my other reels will have mono, so to prevent tangles what length of wind on of mono trace to the leader and at what depth to deploy.{surface, 150', 300' or 600'} For trolling plan to use a 100yd wind on, chunking and bottom fishing 50yd wind on. Also is 80# spectra and 100# mono top shots about right? Any Ideas or anglers using a multi-use wind on system thoughts and commits would be helpful
