BOATS NEEDED THIS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 30! CAPE MAY

Hello,
I recently got word that they are several boats short for the "special kids fishing day" this week. If you and your boat are available please consider supporting this great event.

The event takes special needs kids out for a day of fishing.

There is a captains meeting Tuesday night at the Cape May Marlin & Tuna club that I believe is catered by the Lobster House. Then volunteer boats take the kids out on Wednesday from around 9am until about noon.

All size boats participate. If you're able to help please shoot me a PM. If you know Rookie, who coordinates the event, please contact him directly.

Mike just spoke to Rookie and we are in and will be helping out.

They need more boats so if your in cape may and want to help out this would be a great thing.

hey guys im pretty sure werr doing it...we do it every year last year it got blown out...if anyone is intersted heres a number to call....884-3353...im pretty sure its a 609 area code down there...come on guys not only do u get a free meal from the lobster house ur helping these metally challeged people out....they live in a house and rarely get....sign up and help them have some fun

ok change of plans....im not going to fish but if anybody liives near Mount Laurel and willing to pick me up ill mate for you so u only have to drive the boat....come on guys sign up you will feel awesome wen ur done doing this....go catch some croakers thats all

When it comes to a good cause, Admin is first again to raise his hand.

I hope it's a great day out there for you and the crew.

I'm disappointed to be out of town for it this year. I can say that in past years it's been a very rewarding experience personally. Plus, the other volunteer boats are a great group to be on the water with. It's the only event that will have so many Sportfishers 100 yards off Cape May Point in the middle of August.
