Special Kids Fishing Day 2007, Aug 29

Rookie has the wheels moving for this years ARC special kids fishing day (formerly The Special Olympics). I believe there are over 200 participants this year so the call is going out once again for volunteers. This event has been in place for almost 20 years now and it's something the participants, captains and crews look forward to every year. Last year Admin gave great support and coverage to the event so if you want a view of what it's all about here's his post from last year. The Arc of Atlantic County Ocean Fishing Day.

The Captains Meeting is Tue Aug 28 and the fishing is Wed Aug 29.

If you're able to help take a group out that day, or have any questions please contact Rookie at 609-884-1230. * note, Rookie is fishing the MA500 so he may not be immediately available that week.

I received word last night that they are short a good number of boats for this event. If you can help, please do so. This means a lot to the participants and it's very rewarding to the captain's and crews that support it.

Way to go Sterling this is a great event, all should join in here for this one.
great cause, was a lot of fun watching all the pic from last years event that
john took and seeing all those happy faces on these kids proud of all that
made this happen
