Hang in there buddy, this blow may stir things up enough to push some fish down to you next week. The water is so hot now you can dang near par boil dinner as you're cranking in your fish. The October Georgetown Hole Saildog bite is only a couple or three weeks away.
Yeah, youre right. But the sails have made a strong showing this year. Been hotter than a set of jumper cables at a ...........uh sorry, got carried away there for a moment. Nothing unusal to see sails within 10-12 miles offshore. Hopefully![]()
our tuna and wahoo will return soon to the ledges too. Then i can take down this SKUNK flag.
We got a skunk flag.
It flies about once a year.
If you aint gettin skunked, you aint feeshin!

When we fish up in oc we never flew meat fish flags.
that kept the Jack Booted Federal Tuna Thugs off my boat.
When they did board us, I was happy enought to show them the difference between and Yellowfin and a Bluefin.
...and tell them what the regulations were on each.
