South Florida Hurricane Wilma Update.

Well we are alive, and posting this on generator power. I am in South Miami area where we just caught the edge of the worst weather. I lost all roofing material on the south side of my roof (bare wood). No power for possibly up to 4 weeks! The water was leaking in through my daughters cieling fan in her room! Just wanted to let ya know what is going on. Alotta recovery going on right now. Anybody heard from DeepC?? There are 3.2 Milliuon people without power in South Florida. No gas except a few stations that sell out in an hour. Image all of South Jersey isolated (no ferry service either) that is where we are at. All of the Key's had no power as of this morning, along with an 8ft storm surge. I will post again when able. If anybody needs help down here, and you can post, or YOU know somebody, POST IT! I will do what I can.

That's very generous of you considering you are in the same boat

If YOU need help, let US know and we will do what we can.

Have not heard from Deep C, hope he is hangin in there

My parents have a trailer right on the bay in Key Largo, no damage except for a couple rubbermaids and a picnic table that floated off.
