Now dog gone it I moved to Florida a long time a go to avoid that stuff they get in the north... Cold and more specifically snow...
Well somebody opened the gate and let the cold start flowing... After an exceptionally warm winter so far. The chill has arrived with a vengence. Seeing thirties in the morn and now they're talking even some twenties over the next few days... That for us down here is rare asLowtide getting lucky!
Now I don't work at channel 5 or 12 or 29 as the weatherman but I am educated in marine and atmospheric sciences and past that I'm a fisherman with a set of eyes who actually looks out the window or goes out side to see what the weather is right now. And right now its about 40 degrees (dropping quick) and appears... well... appears to be trying to snow!
I say "trying" to snow. Not quite there, but we're getting that kind of rain with the tiny drops that I'm sure melted on the way down... Will it actually turn to flake? I don't know and won't even try to predict... I do know though that painting on the big boat ain't gonna happen in this condition and I'm just gonna have to go sailfishing tomorrow.

YOU THINK ITS COLD WHERE YOUR AT... THATS A BONAFIDE HEAT WAVE HERE, SAILFISHING, MAYBE THE LOCAL GYM WOULD LET ME USE THE HEATED INDOOR POOL, IF THE BOAT ISN'T TO BIG, COULD BE FUN.

Frost four nights in a row... Some kinda record I guess... Layer of ice on lawn was interesting as sprinklers ran last night... Not sure if we're gonna get the mass vegetation die off that we have had before when the temps dropped to the low or mid twenties but they're saying crops got whacked hard... Stock up on Veggies and OJ cause it ain't commin from here this year and its gonna get expensive...

Now see... Thats your fault for living in the polar ice cap. I shouldn't have to put up with this cold crap. I went to whee the warm is or atleast supposed to be... In typical Florida tradition tomorrow is supposed to break seventy only to have another front slam in and possible snow early saturday. Yes this time even "they" are saying snow at least through mid state...

I'm headed to South Africa in a couple weeks. I'm pretty sure its gonna be warm there...
