Someone please tell me I did the right Thing

I planned to go offshore on Sunday for shark.
I really love getting out there.
On Friday my boss asked if I could fill in on Sunday for the scheduled shift guy ( he hurt his back a a water park on Thursday with his family)
I heard there was a chance of thunder showers on Sunday, so I figured what the hell, I'll be a company guy and do the right thing.
All I can think about today sitting at my desk is DUMB,DUMB,DUMB.
Please tell me I did the right thing and that it's gonna rain tomorrow.

I know the exact feeling that you have right now. I'm sitting here working this whole weekend so I can go to the MA500 next Friday and watch the weigh-in's. I've been asking myself WHY am I doing this? I should be on the water. I keep telling myself that it is for a good reason but in my mind I just can't justify it. Maybe when I get the new boat it will all come together. I hope. I'm sure that you made the right call but it is a hard one the live with.
