    Some Fishing Blues

    Hey Guys,
ever have one of those weeks that just everything goes wrong. This week has been one of those weeks and I believe its about time for me to hit the water. This week started last wednesday when my girlfriend broke up with me right before I had a track race to run ( which I did horrible on ). Then I got a lovely complaint and many arguments with my parents about my grades, yes they have slacked but it was because there was only 1 grade in the book and I have already brought both those grades up to where they ushually are. Then my parents go out of town, everything is suppose to be great because I am staying with my grandparents, guess I was wrong, my grandpa sat and complained to me that I was wasting my life away in the marine industry and that I should get out now so I decided to go out kyak fishing with some of my friends to relieve some stress, that was fun and all but then I go to work sunday as I am the dock manager of a local marina here and there is nothing to do, for 8 hours I sat in my little dock office doing nothing, just cleaning things up and staring at all the nice boats. Yesterday some of my friends were sick and tired of another one of my friends and while he was in a restaurant they put ranch dressing on the windshield of his car and he got pissed blamed me when I did nothing at all and he scratched up the side of my truck. I DID NOTHING!!!! and told him who did and who was there, I told him the truth and now he wants to kill me though I told him everything that was the truth. I am thinking of taking a sick day from school and hit the water on the charter boat I mate on and clear my mind, I need some sea breeze to clear my head ASAP . anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated and thanks for reading.

At least you didn't drop a lure while grinding and buffing, then bend forward to pick it up only to have the grinder give you a "stripe" right to the scalp.

You didn't have $3000 worth of working tackle take a walk while you were working. Your running lights didn't require rebuilding because no new ones on the market fit that spot. Your simple 3 pannel eisenglass replacement didn't turn into five plus new velcro all the way around. Your second cell phone in a week didn't fall under a 2000 pound motor in the grease... It'll all work out...

Sorry to hear about it....it always seems like when it rains it pours....it will get better. The guy that scratched up your car obviously isnt your friend.....the kid vandalised your car, even if you did ranch his winshield no permanent damage was done....friends do all kind of things to each other....when damage occurs its out of line. You have 2 choices for dealing with this kid.....confront him and make him pony up the cash to fix your car...or call the police and have them make him pony up the cash. No one wins in a game of one-up-manship...dont touch his ride because it will only escalate things into much more complication. The bottom line is he had no right to vandalise your car...and he needs to pay to have it fixed......if your other friends wont back your decision to make this kid do the right thing......then you need to take a long hard look at the guys your calling your friends.

Well you got a point there Deep, Believe me I wish I was down there helping you out, I need to get out of this town for a while and forget everything.

As for the kid that keyed my truck, he asked me who did the stuff to his truck and I told him the truth and the kid that did admitted it and didn't believe us and keyed my truck anyways. I will definitely have him pay for the damages, he is no longer my friend at all, I have not done anything to him and all he does is call me a lier. I don't lie to anyone, especially friends! Me and my friend called the kid that did it to tell him we didn't lie and I had the text I sent him right there, and he lied about what I said 5 times in the conversation and I had exactly what I said written in front of me, just goes to show how low he is.

ask him to make good or pay..then casually mention if the wrong answer is given you will take the truck over to have the damage meet his Dad..im sure that will get results.

at least try to work it out between you with a friend to keep the stories straight

..IF..you are 100% sure your in the right and had NO part in the start of the crap. my .02 cents

Thanks, thats a good piece of advice, yea I only walked outside with the kids that did it, never laid a finger on his truck and I actually told him exactly who did it and who did what, I was helping him and he thinks I lied and did it all and the kids that did it even confessed about it but he doesn't believe any of us which is stupid and then he is going about lying about what we told him.
