I've said this before in other ways but the solution keeps comming back the same. The last time we dealt with thousands of years of ingrained finaticism was about 62 years ago. Only the most unimaginable horrible thing a man has ever done to another was able to undo the mess. Only when we demonstarted that we were willing to do something so far more awful than their tiwsted ways had been doing for eons did that crap come to a grinding halt.
If you think Huroshima and Nagaski were destined to be the only time Pandoras Box was opened , you my friends are sadly mistaken. By showing resolve that we are willing to stick it out and fight, it keeps the inevitable at bay for a while. The next attack won't be planes into buildings its gonna be something way ugly. Our response I'm afraid will result in a whole lot of square miles of glass...

Guys, I don't know and I hate politics but this thing has me a bt rattled.

The red coats hated the minutemen because they did not fight honorably. As you prooly know the minute men would hide behind trees to reload. That was dishonorable to the red coats. We stand here today because the minute men won. Indians, even when they had the oppurtunity, were resistent to using guns, they lost. We didn't use the force neccesary to win the Vietnam war IMO because of politics and media coverage, we lost.

In short. my point is the one who are prepared to sacrifice the most will win the fight. We here are just way too comfortable here, spoiled and soft. Self included, I wouldn't want to send my sons to war or disrupt my time with them. We have grown soft as a nation and each generation is growing softer. Hell, here in NJ we just abolished the death penalty. A whole other subject. I seen mention of folks being sensitive to profiling this is ridiculous IMO, a duck is a duck and a goose a goose, a fox will know the difference upon approach. Their are to many examples to list. I don't know what will happen if called upon, I'd like to think we'd step up and come out on top. However, a transformation would have to happen like we have never heard of. I beleive we are going to find out as it is only a matter of time before a scumbag radical gets a nuke. Once that happens we know they WILL use it as they used planes without regard to anyone or thing in the name of Allah. Only when/if that occurs it will probablly be much, much worse than 9/11 with decades of hideous effects on the attacked area and surrounding areas.

Today was a sad day for M.E, peace and the world.

I graciously thank those soliders that have served and continue to serve today. Those same thanks and condolences to the familys of the fallen!
