Seems those caught up in the media reports of what congressman, senator, etc won or loss and how it affects the ebb & flow of happenings in DC, are those same clowns who think today makes a difference.

Don't agree? Here's a little test. IF you decided to vote, how many of you know the political standing and record of EACH name for EACH office / position you are being asked to cast your vote on? I am not talking about Congressional seats; no, I am talking about your local judges... and those district seats that are being decided today.

It starts there. YOU want a new direction? Then study the facts.

Now, personally, all today is going to do is move this country one step closer toward a civil war. It may be a class-war, race war, economic war... either way, it is not going to end the BS happenings of this and prior administrations... nope... all it's going to do is cast an even darker cloak over the real happenings and poke the finger in the chest of the idiots who think they have entitlements.

Remember Robin Hood? You know, that great guy who stole from the rich and gave to the poor???... Remember how he and is cast of Socialists were portrayed to you, your kids, etc??? Now ask yourself... was he really a good dude, or was he nothing more than an earlier version of today's scum?

But then... ask yourself, if it wasn't for Robin Hood, wouldn't the rich get richer and the serfs keep serfing (being servants)?

Yes... it is quite the conundrum...

So... if you really are sick of the crap, does the vote really count? And if you think it's more of the same, then ask... are you ready to take action... real action. The war is coming, actually, it's already here. So, are you standing on the sidelines or committed to take up arms?

When you don't like where the ship is headed, you either jump ship or throw the captain overboard. In this case we need to throw the captain, first mate and every deckhand overboard, re-establish the constitution, get rid of the worthless dead weight that is dragging this ship under, load the cannons and shoot anything that threatens the welfare of the new recruits. Forget the "don't ask don't tell", if we have to ask we ship you to the "Pink Pirate Brigade". If you don't like the God we serve, join another ship but get the heck out completely! Don't like the food? Catch your own! Don't like the ships healthcare system of pay as you go? Go get your own degree and buy your own ship! Need a better job? Work your tail off, make the necessary sacrifices, and become worthy enough to get a promotion. No freeloaders will be fed, housed, protected, supported, pampered, or be allowed to hold a sign for free cash. Period!

This is just a small sampling of the way our ship needs to be fixed and it starts TODAY!

although barbaric, and behind the times, I sometimes wonder if there is any other way to get our country out of the mess that we have created for ourselves, other than violence. We have far too many takers, free-loaders, entitled ones, and worst of all people that enable these characteristics(politicians). With each generation, it seems there are more and more of these kinds, a vicious cycle if you will. I personally think we are too deep in these practices to overcome them without something very drastic taking place. In my opinion, it would definitely be a fight worth fighting, to restore the basic principles that created this country and to know that YOU can work and attain anything you want. It's hard to be the "land of opportunity" when half of your money goes to the outstretched hands of the entitled.

I have some friends who are in militias. They talk like that too.

They're pretty good people, really. They just don't seem to like the idea that governance is messy and they seem enamoured with what they believe would be quick solutions using the only tool they really know how to use, guns.

I respectfully respond that no matter what faction they might represent if the took up arms for real against the U.S. army they would all be quite quickly killed. And, it's very likely that their entire neighborhoods or the neighborhood from which they took potshots would be wiped out along with them.

The lethality of the American army today is absolutely breath-taking. And, they give no quarter. Why a single Marine rifle company of Vietnam vintage with supporting arms could wipe off the face of the earth forever towns of up to 10,000 in an afternoon.

SC and the rest, you could end up dead or miserably wounded or imprisoned and tortured to death as an enemy combatant in Gitmo. You do know that's how the United States actually works, don't you? All that was learned and put into practice on the Islamists, practices that you supported, would be pulled off the shelf and used on you and your fellow insurrectionists.

Yep, when you gave your OK to the government to deal harshly with others you gave your OK for them to treat you and other American citizens identically. That's how it actually works, almost everywhere. Politicians never give up power that you foolishly ceed to them.

Heck, I might even agree with, well, some of your grievances. But that would not make me foolish enough to go up against the greatest meat grinder civilization has ever created. The monster you sanctioned would eat you, period.

When I give this warning to my militia friends, I add at the end of the conversation, "But do what you must. Just don't say you weren't warned". I'll end this post to you, SC, in the same fashion.
