    SNEADS FERRY area accident.......

    On my way to the banks this weekend I noticed a memorial just outside of Sneads Ferry with a HWY PATROL HAT and a FIREMANS HELMUT. Does anyone know anything about this? Looks like two lost there lives in the line of duty?

    A sherrif deputy and Volunteer fireman were hit by an 18 wheeler and killed while directing traffic on a day where smoke blanketed the Hwy. like fog.
