I WENT TO LOWES AND BOUGHT A FLEET OF 9V BATTERIES...CAN YOU BELIEVE IT...? ALL SIX DETECTORS IN MY HOUSE STARTED BLEEPING AT ONE TIME ..IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT....I LOOKED LIKE A IDIOT RUNNING AROUND TRYING TO SHUT EM DOWN!! HELL I AM AN IDIOT.....


2 OF THE BATTERIES I BOUGHT WERE BAD ON TOP OF THAT...IT IS A CONSTANT THING,.....JUST $PEND $PEND $PEND!!

Why does this ALWAYS happen in the middle of the night????

Mine went about a week ago........chirp, chirp......gets the dogs going.....they don't know what the noise but they will sure as hell bark until I get my fat butt out of bed to take it down.....

I found that when they still beep after you take the battery out, place them under the sofa cushion in the room farthest away from where you are sleeping or throw it off the back deck.......your choice.

I fixed mine with a sledgehammer at 2 AM..
