    SLUGS VS. BUCKSHOT

I WAS SPEAKING TO A FRIEND OF MINE YESTERSDAY AND TOLD HIM OF MY UPCOMING SHARK TRIP. HE STATED TO SHOOT HIM WITH BUCK SHOT. MUCH TO MY DISMAY I STATED THAT I HAVE ONLY USED SLUGS! IS THERE A STANDARD FOR THE USE OF AMMO TO QUCIKLY KILL SHARKS ALONGSIDE MY BOAT? I HAVE NOT KILLED MANY SHARKS, BUT THEY DONT GET A FREE RIDE TO SHORE IN MY BOAT UNTILL THEY ARE GOOD AND DEAD!

i know nothing about shooting sharks, but i do know my way around shotguns and ammo. at point blank range, which i would guess you would be shooting your fish beside the boat on the leader......any load is going to come out of the barrel, for all intents and purposes, as a slug. it doesnt matter if it is 00 Buck or #9's.

I don't think it matters much as long as you don't blow a big ol' hole in da boat. I am having trouble getting someone to take my call duty so most likely I am out. This always happens when we get the first run of 80 degree weather. No one wants to work anymore. And besides that with the title the Admin has under my name it might be a bad idea to be out there hand feeding them anyway.
