Funny a guy cc'ed me in a pm the other day.

Wanted a war to stop, first half of the letter was great.
Last line of the letter was, taking a shot at the guy.

Fudge great attempt to make nice but why take a shot at him " reason, the person wanted the last word.

Communities work cause you want them to work.

Hell some of you have massive issues.
Some times you really need to sit back and see why you have issues.

You have to think about things. Did the guy catch you doing something F'd up at some point online and now he is not going to let you live it down.
Well some times being the bigger man in the public eye is much more excepted then being a fighter.

Shit I would love to tell alot of you to f off, hell I dont like alot of you, but since this is a biz and I realize I need to be politicaly correct to make it work.

Fun? No but at the end of the day the point of the site is networking and I have a pretty large group of people to network with.

Some of you crush on a user name. Hell funny part is some of you hit a guy hard call him a punk call him a kid, fact is he is the ceo of a major corp. He was having fun, you took it wrong, now you show your true colors in public and I can guareentee with the amount of people on this site it can and will effect u more then you will ever know.

Well back to the pm, I can not ban the world. It is very hard to help those who can not help themselves.

If you want this site to be a good site then make it a good site.

Leave the bs alone and post something good.
If you all took this approach we would have an amazing future.

As of every year none fishing season in the north east is a *****. Fishing season is around the corner. It will change why? Well for one I will work my ass off this year to cover as much stuff as I can to make you all enjoy being home.

Please do not write me and say hey not sure if you knew about this problem but for the last month tons of people are leaving because of this guy.
Hey idea! Work with us, not against us. Life is not always fun. The last year or so has been tough on us aswell.
Sponsors have been tough, but I can assure this. We have brought in some amazing sponsors for this year.
We will be adding staff, covering tournaments, and adding more features.

Thanks Capt, This is a great site and I hope it stays that way. I also agree with what you said in regards to Networking. Just last week I was able to go fishing in NC because of people I met through this site. Awesome. The information on the site is excellent and it keeps getting better. Once again thanks for all you and Jer and Box and others do, its greatly appreciated and valued.

The cyber world is a strange place that brings out strange behavior ( your example of a CEO trolling for kicks and ending up seeming like the mature one is a little bizarre IMO) and I hope folks can act like adults so we can all enjoy this community for years to come.

Now there's a list I'd like to see, but I'm too afraid that I might be on it.

It's always amazing to me that people can't disagree without beating something to a pulp. Is it that hard to put together a rational argument, make your point and be done? From what I'm seeing it looks like a lot of people haven't gotten over High School. In fact, a few people seem like they couldn't get into High School. You have way too much time on your hands if you can waste it on an internet whizzing contest.

John and Jer have worked hard to create a unique place for us to share a common interest and help each other out. That's why I'm here. It's why all of us should be here. Not to fix our self-esteem issues.

Very well put John, I think alot of piddly squables turn into alot bigger and hurtful issues because of members fueling the fire with their input sometimes. Basically it's that old saying "If you don't have something good to say, don't say it" instead move on, there is plenty of other great things on this site to comment on!
