This site needs a "bilge" category

where the mindless trolls can rant, use profanity, and entertain themselves with their mindless drivel. Too much crap allowed in Mix it up.
Put the few in their own category or forum that won't link up with other "new posts" etc. Give them their own little playpen to wallow in. Or better yet, fire the customers who are bad for business.
This site has become a classic case of a few spoiling it for the rest. I know, turn the channel, don't look or respond; but if this site were my business I sure would be 86ing a few inhabitants. No public business allows a customer to just do as he pleases no matter how repulsive to the majority of other patrons.
Let me elaborate a bit. I have been in the bar, restaurant / entertainment business for over 30 years. It is my job as an owner or manager to make sure my customers are comfortable in the enviroment. If I have a drunken obnoxious customer in the corner habitually making others uncomfortable, I try to negotiate with said customer and change their behavior. If that does not work, they are gone - done - finito; if only to preserve the long term success of the business. Mods, you have a few habitually obnoxious guests in the corner deteriorating your business.
Competition is cruel - folks will seek info & spend their $s where they are most comfortable.

Unlike the site with the "bilge" I do not believe that there are any "moderators" this is more self policed. But I do believe ADMIN has corrected a few individuals when it was necessary.

Moderators = censorship. I am not advocating anarchy here, but the amount of arguing that goes on here as opposed to the other site is minimal.

You're going to say all that and then not call out the people you don't like. Come on man. Get some balls and rock this boat. If you don't like something say. "I don't like that Teddyp gives Deepy a hard time because he's a liar and a horrible fishermen" or "I think Lowtide has a mind of a 13yr old" If you're going to make this grandioso statement back it up with something. I'll wait for your response with names.

To me mix it up is the bilge.
Only thing is people post good stuff in here because they know it will get eye balls from all areas.
Sorta like a general hangout.

Every year people get nuts, but then fishing comes back and sportfishermen.com has the info.
This year with over 15 new employees we are doing the work of a industry and getting your reports up with hired staff.

But man mix it up gets crap in it and I hear the site is shit.

Not talking censorship here just good business. Companies fire customers all the time for their actions that run contrary to company goals.
Folks will stop coming to your store if there is always someone whackin it by the front door.
