Dang LaGringa,

Don't be "keelin" over on us now, most of us are just getting used to ya! Now that you've had this "warning", I'd expect you to keep a closer eye on yourself. I just got back from my semi- annual visit to the Dr, this morning. I keep a real close check on all the stuff you listed above, along with my weight. As we get older, we can't take the stuff for granted we used too. Now if you play this right, you might get Gringo to wait "hand and foot" on you for atleast a couple of week's. Take care of yourself. Frank

Wow, you scared the crap out of me with this post. You be careful and make Gringo take care of you...

PS, tell Gringo to post something in "Slice of heaven" even if it is a DIY thread...

I had an uncle who would not take blood pressure meds. He insisted he was going to treat it with diet and exercise. One night he blew out his aorta and bled to death.

I also have a nephew (different family side) who did not take care of his blood pressure and diabetis as he should have. He is now the recipient of someone elses kidney.

High blood pressure can lead to heart problems, kidney failure, stroke, vision problems and vessel rupture due to anuerisms.

This is why I'm talking about it. It's too easy to ignore the problem but the stakes are very high...
