Sick Sick Sick!!!!

Day 18: Well, the Dr. gave me a couple of medicines on Monday. One at night, one for day and an antibiotic. The one at night, Tussinex......oh what a wonderful drug....I sleep like a baby, no sniffling, no coughing, no functioning brain activity whatsoever. The day drug, entec....pretty much useless.....gets me barely functional.

This morning, standing in my kitchen, blew my nose for the 1,476th time, both ears pop....UH OH....VERTIGO........room starts spinning like mad.....feel like I am really drunk without the party before it.......ugh......

Dr. is sending me to Ear Nose Throat guy.....this is killing me.

Sorry to complain.....ugh!

Day 20: Making progress. I actually don't feel like I am dying any longer. I mean this thing is still here right but I am starting to feel somewhat human. I am still blowing my nose like crazy and have a horrible cough but it feels like the congestion is finally starting to clear up.

Call me an optimist but if I start to feel a little bit better I may take a stab at going out fishing this coming weekend.

Now for the pesimistic side, the weather is probably going to suck knowing my luck.

I went through something similar a few years ago. FINALLY the Ear, nose, throat guy found out I had a severe sinus infection. Wound up having surgery to clear it out. What a difference!

Day 619: At least it feels that way. Went back to the Dr. because I have been having problems with Vertigo. Four episodes in the past 3 days. Two left me crippled for over an hour each time with a spike in tempature and crazy sweats...from dry to dripping in 5 minutes....its insane. Its being caused by me blowing my nose. The pressure I create in causing the fluid in my ears to shift which causes the vertigo.

The Dr. said I still have a bad sinus infection that is also the source of the problem with my ears. Switched me to some Anti-vertigo medicine and to help sleep at night....valium.....that is soooo sweet.....

Can't drink because of the antibiotics but the valium should be a party of its own.....the only bright spot to my day (night)

I don't wish this on anyone. Hopefullly things will be all cleared up by next weekend when I go out tuna fishing with Big Deal.

IF IT HELPS YOU FEEL ANY BETTER........ITS DAY 49 AND MY PAPER CUT HAS HEALED NICELY....IT WAS 2MM IN LENGTH AND AS DEEP AS A KNATS HAIR....IT WAS ON THE OUTSIDE OF MY LITTLE FINGER......REQUIRED A LOT OF TLC HEALING FROM THE PONEYTAIL
