Should I put a name on?

I need input from y'all...
The wife and I have been going around about this.
I say the two boats I own are JUST kayaks. She says that they are the closest I'll get to a "real" boat. (Let's face it, unless someone dumps a bunch of money in my lap so that I can become an owner, this is as close as a blind man is going to get.)

She says I should put the two names I go by on my yaks. "Wave Loudly" on the Key Largo boat, and "Sea Knot" on the one I use here in VA. (The "Wave Loudly" thing started when I first hit the Keys and people thought I was being rude for not waving back as they passed, so it seems fitting to put that on the boat down there...)

I'm thinking it would seem a little upitty to put a name on a yak. (I think the only thing I should put would be a plaque on the bottom that reads "If you can read this, roll the boat over".)

Name' em including the roll me over plaque. I have a name on My 13' RIB. also here in VA. Out on the lower Chessie all the time.

She's been encouraging me to go after bigger fish, taking her own yak encouraging me to "find my limits"... You don't think..... Nah, not her, she wouldn't want to get rid of me..... She likes my running off whenwver a buddy says "let's go fish".........

Why not...the roll me over thing is funny.Hell some people name their golf clubs.. naming a kayak seems fine to me, go for it and have fun with it.....besides if your wife wanted you gone she would have painted a bullseye on your kyak while you were sleeping

Name them.
I like the roll me over plaque.
Just make sure she doesn't paint a seal on the bottom.
Wouldn't want to confuse one of them great whites
into thinking it's dinner time. LOL
