Shimano tiagra 30w or Penn 116L

My question is this, between these to reels the shimano spooled with 80lb power pro(or any type of braid) and the Penn spooled with 80lb mono witch would you choose to use and why. I would go with the Shimano with the braid its a smaller reel but I think made to handle it and would out perform the penn even tho its bigger. I posted this question before but I wanted to see what more fisherman think, useing the poll I think I will get more responses.
