RSS & ICS Feeds Released For Tournament Section
We have just released RSS, XML, and ICS (windows calendar, Mac iCal) feeds for the tournaments section to keep you up to date on whats going on in the tournament world.
About RSS
If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a simple way to include or "syndicate" content from another site to your own. You can also subscribe to RSS feeds in most common browsers, which will show you a cut and dry updated list of tournaments.
About ICS
.ics files are files used by the windows calendar software as well as a few other common desktop calendar programs out there. By adding the tournament .ics link to your calendar program you'll receive an updated list of tournaments formatted nicely for your favorite calendar software.
Here are some examples, the feeds and ics are available for every area we track though - just view the tournaments section and above the listings of tournaments you'll see little icons for All, Saltwater, and Freshwater RSS. We'll put the ICS links up shortly.
Hope you like it, please let us know if you have any questions!
Uh, yea sure.----- use it all the time. Wouldn't leave home without my RSS and the ICS is the heat while on the road--
Hey guys, what in the hell is he talking about?---- I already got plenty of ballyhoo for the season, and have renewed my Roffer's subscription but don't know anything about this new stuff--- is it tournament legal?
