We have a club that has a bunch of tournament days and I thought it would be fun to post the results of this past Saturday since it was the first fishable day we have had and the state record for dolphin may have been caught. I just highlight the letter on Outlook Express and hit Ctrl c. Then I come here and hit Ctrl v. Being able to do this makes me feel like Bill Gates. Is there an even more sophisticated way to do it? Tell me in English and I'll try it.

The way you're doing it is fine right now, these are more or less a list of tournaments in our system that update.

We will be expanding the tournaments section soon though to handle more user-submitted content, track attendees and results. When that's done, someone will post another tricky thread with some extensive tutorials on how to use it.

We have just released RSS, XML, and ICS (windows calendar, Mac iCal) feeds for the tournaments section to keep you up to date on whats going on in the tournament world.

    About RSS

If you're not familiar with RSS, it's a simple way to include or "syndicate" content from another site to your own. You can also subscribe to RSS feeds in most common browsers, which will show you a cut and dry updated list of tournaments.

    About ICS

.ics files are files used by the windows calendar software as well as a few other common desktop calendar programs out there. By adding the tournament .ics link to your calendar program you'll receive an updated list of tournaments formatted nicely for your favorite calendar software.

Here are some examples, the feeds and ics are available for every area we track though - just view the tournaments section and above the listings of tournaments you'll see little icons for All, Saltwater, and Freshwater RSS. We'll put the ICS links up shortly.

Hope you like it, please let us know if you have any questions!

I MOST CERTAINLY DO USE IT BRO.......I APPRECIATE THE QUICK REPLY......SOMETIMES THER RSS FEED IS "TARDY" OR POSSIBLY EVEN DELINQUIENT......
I HAVE TRIED ADDING THE .ics LINKS TO MY CALENDAR BUT THE RESIDUAL BUFFERING FILTER "CLICK HERE" CAPTION KEEPS POPPING UP....

    ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCING THIS?
