Life just gets better with each passing year
and what a year it was--- I had the honor and pleasure of fishing with many great people this year:
Cowboy, Proheat, Johnseafood, Hollwhachagot, Wild1, Dave Sikorski, Gaffman, MileLPL, SeaBisquit, Bite Me, JD, Shark JP, Ruggerdude, Wahoonbox, Tuna Taxi, and several others I can't remember their board names.
Thanks all for a wonderful 2006!!!!

Cuttin chunks!
This was one of the best years I can remember. The Striper season was just plain out AWESOME. Quick limits in spring and fall, with nice healthy fish
Offshore out of OC this past year was fantastic. We hammered the tuna!! Got my neighbors first. He is hooked for life now!!
Looking forward to 07

Happy New Year to All
For Cathy and me:
1) celebrated another year of cancer survival for Cathy
2) our first grandchild graced our lives
3) first offshore runs (6) in our own boat
4) first pelagic blood on our boat - ahi, mahi and ono.
5) first togs
6) first sheepshead
7) first wreck-anchoring
8) first try at drifting eels for big stripers (it works!)
9) first overnighter (with DD) - first true albacore, first swordfish, first tilefish
Finished the year mostly healthy, still employed, and hopeful for a better year in 2007.
Our best wishes to all on SFC for health, love, success, and peace in the New Year.

Stop staring at my Avatar.
Year 2006 was bitter sweet…
1. Caught and landed 3 black drum in the same night. (First ever: 2 @ 62lbs. And 1 @ 35 lbs)
2. Bottom fishing (flounder) was as good if not better than 2005.
3. In July, I lost my grandfather, He was responsible for introducing my dad to saltwater fishing who intern introduced me to this awesome sport.
4. Joined Sportfisherman.com because Admin’s WMO coverage was kick ass!!!
5. Got married September 30th.
6. Striper fishing was about the same as last year.
7. Tog fishing was better this year than last.
8. Got off-shore 1 time for Tuna on the NOT RIGHT. No Tuna but got some Dolphin.
9. Could not get a decent weather window to get off-shore in my boat
10. Met some of the people from this board.

me llamo SUPER Dave
2006 has gone down as a GREAT one!!.
Got to meet a bunch of members of this great site....if I start naming them I'll forget.
Trips...
1. Belize....FLATS GRAND SLAM.
2. MHC...3rd Place Swansboro tourney on the RUN-OFF. Capt. Brian put us in the spot, Marty placed the baits, and a simple coin flip put me in the chair. 55 min later brought me my first BLUE MARLIN. Great fishing with and meeting Bill, Garrett, Rob, Glenn, Myron, The BOX and the BEAST. Will never forget that day.
3. Endless Regional trips to catch hundreds or stripers, blues, and perch this summer with my Dad and some friends. I'm finally taking the time to learn some of MD's waters.
4. Offshore fishing with Adrenaline Sportfishing. Always had a blast with Chilli at the wheel and JP in the pit. Plenty of stories from those weekends.
5. Overnight Tuna trip with JD, Tred Barta, and Anthony on the Makaira. About as good as a trip as I could have hoped for. Great guys, great stories, great fishing, and some great chicken....damn I can cook!!
6. Colorado Elk hunt...Many miles covered and only got to stick a rabbit. Was it worth it. Damn right it was.
7. Illinois Deer....no deer, but a good time.
5 MD deer, as many ducks as I can find, and a few geese have made the freezer.
What a damn year.
Wishing all at SF.com a Happy new year, and a great 2007.
