The second wind...a love hate relationship

My day.....wake up at 4 am, at work by 4:30 and on my way to Bristol Connecticut to look at a machine we are thinking about buying. I hit the George Washington bridge at 6:30 am and it was grid lock......F'ing gps...I knew I should have taken the tapanzee bridge...spelling is off what ever. I honestly dont know how the people that live around NYC do it.....to hell with that traffic! I arrive at my location around 10 am...spend 3 hours taking serial numbers off of motors, the machinery and plenty of pictures.....1 pm I point the company tuck south.....made good time on the way back......mainly because I skirted the GW bridge and the nightmare that NYC is.....and made it back in 3 hrs flat, after spending that much time in a truck I needed 2 things, a hot shower and a cold beer.....got home got the shower but decided to hit happy hour at the local pub....girl #2 called and we hung out for a bit ...we both got what w were looking for and here I am, up since 4 ....frosty beverage in hand and not really looking forward to the alarm clock going off at 4 am again tomorrow....F it you-only live once right....The moral of my story is beware of the second wind.....they always hit you when you should really be sleeping.

used to have a supra twin turbo..useless in the winter..so i drove my trusty IH Scout 350 BB, 33" Cepeks, chains for snow..invincible..that is until a snow storm drove 5" drifts against the barn doors..took 4 hours to dig it out..only to find frozen battery due to heater malfunction..said f$^k it and moved south..enough of that crap. Frosty beverage..can that...want antifreeze???TEQUILA is the only liquid for winter months.
