You do anything this weekend?

i got some spec trout saturday, and today. pretty good numbers too.

today i caught a 2.1lb trout on, get this, 3lb test ice fishing line LOL .
usin my old ice fishing rod.. just jokin around catchin spikes and he hit it.

dont know HOW i didnt lose it. took me litterally like 7 minutes just to get a trout in lol.



ANYWAYS! lets go get some bluefin when they come back in.

King fished. You know those rigs you left on the boat.....they don't exist anymore.



I'm not sure about those mono/wire shot rigs, you might want to rethink that one.

Hey Jim, we got our limit Sat.. how did you guys fare? We also got a cooler of various reef fish w/ some snappers thrown in for good measure.

u didnt troll with them mono/wire splices did u jim? didnt realize i put them in that bag.


what happened? im guessing they got cut off trolling? yeah , they aint for the troll, i use them pretty much just off of the pier. dont like em trolling.



how big were the kings/ how many u get?

We used them drift fishing live bait and the mono doesn't hold up to 30lb kings.

yeah, dont know why they were in that bag.

only time ive used em off the boat, is when we used a kite.

off of the pier i use them alot , they are perfect.

off the pier, is like kite fishing, just your bait is barely in the water.
