So you include the top (Its not because its an option not included in net weight but whatever)
Hull with twin diesels 5000lbs
Trailer 1850lbs (given the weight of your trailer you either had either one of two RKPK-28TRB powercat RoadKing trailers one of which has a carrying capacity not including the trailer of 9000lbs (gvw 11000lb) or the heavier axled one which has a carrying capacity of 10,700lbs(gvw 12900lb). Even the smallest one long enough to carry your boat has a carrying cap not including the trailer itself is 8500lbs)by the way according to Road King they dont put 2950lb axles on any of their cat trailers that size.
=6850lbs round up to 7000lbs just to be safe. So even if you include the weight of the trailer (which you dont)and you had nothing else on the boat your trailer was perfectly able to safely and legally carry your boat.
I think you need to learn how to figure weight and capacity before you start blaming people for your issues. Have a nice day.
Sorry I missed your question, Im currently boatless. I sold my 29' Scarab Sport a year or so ago then my 20' Chris Craft last year. We are going to be moving in the near future and until we get settled in there is no point in buying a new one until we see how close to the coast we will be. That will in part determine what kind of boat I buy, trailerable, or slip. I moved once having to relocate two boats, and I dont see the need to do it again, since it will most likely be cross country. See I make sure I find out all the possibilities and issues before I do something stupid, but you go on trying to make that seem relevant to your whining.
