Yes. Honesty is the best policy.
No, some manufacturers can't sell boats unless they lie.
The economy will weed out dishonest people.
No cuz I like seeing "Mr Lemon" beat the green out of this dead horse.
Odds are Mr Brown wants Phyllis to fight his battles.
Worldcat Lemon needs his head examined, everybody is a liar, except me.
WC is like fishermen, they all lie about the length, girth, and performance.
WorldCat..can I give you two and half pieces of advice.
1.
The WWW actually doesn't give two chits' that you bought a lemon.
2.
WorldCat and/or Volvo is NOT going to come on the WWW and apologize, tongue bath your whiney ass or give you ******** for the problems you had with the subject vessel. Forget it, it will NEVER happen.
2 1/2.
The amount of energy you have put into this you could have made enough to buy two new boats, and give Sea Draggin an annual subscription to "Gay World Magazine".
Point is..you got duped, screwed, blued and tattooed..mostly because you didn't do your due diligence, man up and just take what you got..and stop the BS go fishing have a nice life, WE DON"T GIVE a RAT's hole about your WC issues.
STOP USING SF.COM TO TRUMPET YOUR CASE..THAT'S WHAT ATTORNEY GENERALS ARE FOR AND THE CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY IS ALL ABOUT.
Your right I did get screwed, duped, swindled, and any other adjective we apply here. Point is I am not whining, but rather I am sharing my experience so some other fishermen doesn't spend his hard earned cash to buy a boat that is an industry dirty little secret. Besides I made a promise to my buddy at World Cat and I am not going away for a Looooonnnnnggggg time.
I don't mind if you disagree with me. So what?! But if World Cat had stood behind their product I would have been publishing fishing pics instead of beating this dead horse of a boat. Next year when my new boat is finished being built( and it is NOT A WORLD CAT), I will post a plethora of pics and my favorite GPS #'s for anyone interested. I am not offended if you ignore my thread.
Seadraggin, the two asian guys with the helmets photo, was that the inspiration for one of your deep diving jigs? I may have to invest in a few of those for Albacore, lingcod, seabass, and halibut. Any reports they will work on these?
Hey, I still have a 2008 Road King trailer with <4000 miles that I bought from Town Creek Marina(Lisa Alley and Steve Tulevech) for sale. Too bad they sold me an underweight trailer with the wrong axles for this boat. Wierd, after 14 months Town Creek still has not sent me the correct one. Hey Steve, what's up with that? Hey, how about the new ladder assembly you promised me, and not the bent, rusty one you sent out here? You ever gonna send me the right trailer? Maybe you should just cut me a check and come to my shop and pick this one up. I'd love to see you again.
ADMIN..
I VOTE TO LOCK THIS THREAD AND THROW IT IN THE BILGE.
If you agree..post behind this maybe we need a democratic vote.
Other sites that this Lemonhead has posted on let it get to one post then locked..
YOU have my vote.
Delete the whole thread Jer, only you have the power! Well ok Admin to.
I was under the assumption that sportfishermen.com was interested in issues relating not only to sportfishing but also to sportfishermen's issues.
After looking at the number of people reading this thread (>7000) I have to believe somebody is interested in the dilemma of a group of people who purchased an unseaworthy and unsafe model of boat. That to me should be of interest to SFC.com...to protect fishermen and their right to pursue happiness by being able to go fishing.
For those of you who object? Fine. I don't object to someone posting half nude women on here, even if I do object, they have the right to express themselves, just as I do. That is what a "forum" is about.
Every word I have written is 100% true, whether the good ol' boys believe it or not, I really don't give a "flying fig".
Do you have a problem with truth?
