Ace First: Some older folks might remember when Auburn was also known as the "Plainsmen". I do. Georgia Tech had 3 nicknames as well.

Different subject: I was at the first game that Myrtle Beach won against Conway back in 67 or 68. They had a tie in the previous 20 games against Conway. A black kid scored the TD to beat Conway and a year later the all black high school in Conway closed. I think it was Drummond but it has been a long time. I was stationed there between Vietnam tours.

That was before my time, but I did play some ball against them in the late 80s, Conways had some tuff teams. You know the area well then, I live out in the Red Bluff area off Hwy 905. Ever come back through the area?

And N2theblue.....no it was working out to well for me, but arent you a CLEMSON fan, oh yes, that was last weeks news.

I readily admit we suck. And until we get a new AD and at least a new OC we will continue to do so.

We also suck at basketball, ya'll beat us over the weekend.

I'm going back to my roots and only rooting for Duke basketball, which I grew up doing.
