I think you are missing some nice tunes by
Morbid Angel
Possessed
Cannibal Corpse
and Obituary
No real metal charter could be complete without some of these bands playing at ear bleed level!

Franky-Nice List but...
I would certainly add "Seasons in the Abyss" and "Postmortem" to the Slayer selection
"Blackened" to the Metallica list.
"Primal Concrete Sledge" and "Heresey" to the Pantera List
Also anything by Kreator, Carcass, Celtic Frost, and in the spirit of the Anthrax and Exodus selections, any of DRI's early stuff. Although I'm young, I believe not 10% of the new stuff out there can touch the thrash of the 80's. Bands in the hay-day like Megadeth, Slayer and Carcass were the shit.
I'm astonished and pleasantly surprised that there are fellow metal fans on SFM.

Oderus is the shit!!! GWAR has touched my life like few bands ever have- when things are not just right in the world I play Scumdogs, and i know all will be good again. THAT IS when the human filth is torched and this toilet we call a planet is engulfed in flames only to burn out the sun and freeze. Then Gwar will return and unleash havoc on the remaining slaves and all will be returned to the proper state of being in the Universe.
Whatever happened to Eddie Munster? I'm looking at him!!!
Kreator- Hordes of chaos is my favorite tune by them!!
can't forget Suicidal Tendencies either- Join the Army, How will I laugh tomorrow...
