    Sarah Palin

Hey, I love Sarah Palin. I don't really know why. Perhaps she is just a good looking fisherman or it may be the way she puts a wedgy in the pants of the left. Now this article shows lightweight Ashley Judd trying to score points. She is claiming Sarah wants to wipe out the predator population of Alaska.

Poor Ashley doesn't know about animals or how the populations are controlled. I doubt she has a hunting license. But I bet on a date she orders Filet Mignon preceeded bt a Shrimp appetizer. I hope her date gets his moneys' worth. Didn't I betcha.

Ashley Judd, personifies your typical Hollywood idiot, lots of money with absolutely no clue, there lives must be so boring there willing to jump on any bandwagon available, even if the cause is absurd, but, the amazing thing is...The Great Unwashed eat this drivel up,just when i think this world cant get any stupider....along comes another "cause" good entertainment though.

I met Ashley Judd once a few years ago - not because I wanted to but because she chased me down to apologize for her dogs. I wasn't that impressed.

We were on another island and sitting at the club having lunch or something. She comes prancing through on her way to the beach in her big floppy hat as though one of the six of us at the club at the time might accost her for an autograph or a photo . She was more concerned about who she was than we were, I can assure you...!!!!

In the meantime, she has her two dogs (boxers I think) and they are not on a leash and Dooley is sitting with us and he's on a leash and those two dogs tried to attack Dooley and of course he fought back...!!!! Created a big ruckus. How rude to have these two dogs loose in a public place. Well she doesn't stop, of course, but her husband (or whoever that guy was) is running around trying to control the dogs.

He finally gets the dogs under control and takes them down to the beach. We finish our lunch or whatever and head down the beach to get back on our boat. She comes running over to me to apologize and then starts to recite her version of how these dogs need to be socialized properly. "It wasn't fair that she had two dogs and they went for him at the same time and let's try to introduce them one at a time....blah, blah blah" I'm thinking... "Lady, I don't have time nor inclination for this..." I don't CARE if our dogs are friends."

It wasn't fair because YOUR dogs are not on a leash...!!! OOOH... THAT's right... you're Ashley Judd and these simple rules of dog etiquette apparently don't apply to YOU...!!!

Nope, not impressed at all.... I think she's a good actress but that's about it...

In the short time that I interacted with him - I would say the same thing. He felt badly and was very apologetic. I actually felt badly for him because he's there dealing with the aftermath of her red carpet sashay through the club with her free ranging dogs.... she never even looked back...

OH!!!!!! and Gringo reminds me... she comes all the way down to the club to walk past the six of us to the beach with her dogs - in the meantime, they rented a house (next to my dad's) ON the beach with its OWN path a half a mile away!!!!!....

I don't know or care much about any of the people involved here. On the issue at hand, shooting wolves is just plain wrong. They are extremely intelligent social animals with an important role in the food chain. Once prevalent in almost the enitre country they only survive in a few areas now.

Its not like they pose any real threat to humans that justifies killing them. I would think that most fishermen would agree. Shootin wolves from a heli is about like depth-charging for marlin.

know what they are doing. But I have no first hand knowledge. I would assume so as the animals are so important to ecotourism in The Great Land.

Witnessing killing is never pleasant. A lot of us would eat less chicken if we had to kill our own.

The comments re Ashley Judd and her husband are appreciated. I am sure they are fine people.
