Salsbury area, a little help please

I'm trying to put a little trip north together. (Headed to Cape May if I can put it together.) My wife has agreed to drag me and the yaks alittle of the way, and a buddy is coming down from the Philly area to pick me up and then head for the ferry to complete the run. We're thinking the Salsury area will be about half way for both. I'm gussing travel on 13, (blind guy noot in charge of navigation... LOL) so I'm looking for a spot for us to meet up for the transfer. Does anyone have a suggestion for an easy to find place? Maybe a beer and burger joint so that if one gets there early, there's something to pass time. (I'm preparing for my wife to get me there ahead of time and my buddy to be late as normal). Thanks for any help you can offer!

North end of Salisbury on 13 are a number of places. Fuddrucker's, Chili's, Applebee's. The mall is also up there.

Souhds like we should have no problems.... Well, you never know when my buddies are involved in this type of deal! LOL Knowing him, he'll end up at a place in Las Vegas looking for an ocean to fish.... LOL (and he calls me blind!)

There's an IHop right there that's pretty easy to get into and get out of. Plus you can't miss the familiar shape of Ihop.
