Zummie, this is why Obama must go. He betrayed those of us who cared fundamentally about the civil rights in the Consitution. I'm not talking about the pseudo-patriots, those I call the Loud, Proud and Lightly Endowed. I'm talking about those who, despite being conservative, were absolutely shocked that a Republican Administration dismantled so many liberties, even the right of Habeus Corpus.

It left me wondering how in the Devil civil liberties which are the foundation of our freedom itself was consigned by the conservatives to the pathetic Left when precisely those freedoms are what they claim to defend. Defense of liberty and freedom used to be a conservative value, no just some talking point. Now, the conservatives sneer when someone even says the words "civil liberty"

Bush did this to us. Obama reinforced it and made the necessary precedents to keep it forever in place.

He must go.
