All of these are great- I have to admit, nothing chaps me more than someone who shows up late, and then has the nerve to catch an attitude because his ass got left at the dock!!!!

Also, if your have to take a movement in the casting net bucket, PUT WATER IN IT FIRST!!! The last thing I want to do is drape a cast net over my shoulder knowing that a stink pickle was stuck to the bottom of the bucket the day before!!!

That's my soapbox for the month!!

Sounds like everyone that owns a boat has pretty much the same rules. I just wish someone would tell all the other people!

Like I said on another thread. the best boat guests happen to also be boat owners. I get on my boat with a bunch of owners and I feel like I am on a charter boat. I don't have to do a damn thing. I have had some of the best trips of the yr on my boat with Shark, often, dove hunt, goldman, streamweaver, bitemysister just to name a few, all boat owners or captains. and yes Karl kayaks do count

One more rule that didn't come into play this yr but ran into it before. Never make plans for 6:00PM with your wife on a fishing day. You ain't gonna make it. When my wife asks what time I will be home I tell her to not worry until tuesday. If I'm not home by tuesday then call somebody

Oh Mason, I love the net bucket comment. I wonder who that was directed at?? Just got a visual of seeing someones head with glasses on just above the gunnel as I pulled up next to your ride getting ready to throw the net back in hoophole on the old badfish boat.
